there’s lots of other similar type checklists
the one we have around here is run by Rescape which used to be called Bay Friendly landscaping. the city also has a lot of rules regs criteria in place for environmental protection . for sure at the state levels too.
I don’t actually know enough about the programs to talk about them in depth,
But we do see the results of such projects over time and discuss with class. Will say that if there is casual and careless management, no resources devoted to maintenance staffing or repairs, bad and cheap construction, sloppy oversight during and after building, and designers and architects who don’t actually understand or care about the forces & power of Mother Nature or respect her creatures – all the check marks and points and awards are for naught. Time sorts it all out.
